Our Story

​Journeys of Women Ministries was not created from a business plan or a desire to build an organization. It was born through prayer, faith, and a growing conviction that God was calling women to experience His healing, hope, and restoration. What began as a simple step of obedience gradually unfolded into something much greater as the Lord continued to reveal each new season of the ministry.

​

Over time, God opened doors to write books, create Bible studies and devotionals, develop speaking messages and workshops, launch podcasts, establish outreach programs, and provide Christ-centered resources for women seeking hope. None of these opportunities were part of one carefully designed plan. Rather, each step became another reminder that God was faithfully leading the journey.

Today, Journeys of Women Ministries exists because God is still transforming lives. Our prayer is that every woman who connects with this ministry will discover that no season is wasted, no heart is beyond His reach, and no story is beyond His power to redeem. As God continues to write this story, we remain committed to following His leading and helping women move from brokenness to boldness through Christ.​

Pearl Truesdale is the Founder and President of the Board of Journeys of Women Ministries. She is also the founder of Journeys of Women Ministries LLC and Truesdale Publishing LLC. As a Christian speaker, author, podcaster, and content creator, Pearl is passionate about helping women heal, restore, and walk boldly in Christ through biblical truth, compassionate encouragement, and practical resources..

Beverly Schaefer James

Beverly Schaefer James serves on the Board of Directors for Journeys of Women Ministries. As a business owner for nearly thirty-five years, she brings extensive experience in customer service, bookkeeping, financial management, scheduling, and organizational administration. Beverly is passionate about encouraging women to grow in their faith and become the women God has created and called them to be.

 

Vicky Luckina

Vicky Luckina serves on the Board of Directors for Journeys of Women Ministries. She is a middle school discipline counselor, gymnastics instructor, and MMA fighter and trainer. Vicky is passionate about helping the next generation discover their identity in Christ, build strong character, and live with purpose. Her servant's heart and commitment to mentoring others make her a valued member of the ministry.
